We had to buy a cart to store everything I’ve accumulated. AMA about my borubons, scotches, cars I’ve reviewed, or anything else. I’m also going to SEMA on Wednesday so yay.

And yes, there’s a lot more under the bar still. I like trying different bourbons but obviously I don’t drink it that fast, thus the collection haha

<$25 is extremely hard. It's worth upping your budget to <$40 after tax.

The Mckenna 10 i s around $35 and is universally known in the bourbon community as a killer deal.

Weller Special Reserve and A ntique 107 or around that same range and certain barrels eventually become Papi’s. On the secondary those bottles are anywhere from $750 plus. 80% the experience for 5% the price or less.

Four Roses 100 proof is around $40 but is one of my top 5 ever.

Oh god. At that price point it would sit in a cupboard and never be sipped. I love me some budget goodies. $35+tax is my limit.

Definitely try the Mckenna 10 if you can find it. Weller as well. I’ve also found, the best way to enjoy a more expensive bourbon is just to pop it and go. It is funny though as some of my absolute favorites don’t get touched as much. Four Roses 100 Proof is well worth you splurging.

May the Lexi Gods be with you. That is no fun. In Tennessee the GS470 dashboards like cracking. Our heat is not as bad as Florida but is very similar . It takes its tolls on cars for sure.

Yes actually! It’s hidden in behind the Four Roses Single Barrel ( 100 Proof) and the Four Roses Barrel Pick(122.2 Proof). It’s a very good scotch blend for a great price.

Do you mean more or less Peat? If so, Laphroig 10 for aorund $50 is great for more Peat. If you want less, get a Speyside Scotch. I would suggest A uchentoshan Three Wood at $70 a bottle. If you want to go cheaper, Monkey Shoulder at around $35 is a great buy.

I really like the Woodinville Whiske y Straight Bourbon, (their plain Whiskey and Rye are ok, but not great...) Spectacular and still less than $50 US a bottle. It’s like a better and more complex Maker’s Mark.

I have two bottles of Weller, both the Antique and Special Reserve. Bought them for about $45, because that’s the whole sale cost. I have a great relationship with a local store, and he doesn’t tend to mark the prices up like the bog box stores. Are you on the OppoSpirits facebook page?
